HMHD Returning to Action

14 12 2010

Hello all HMHD fans and friends.  After a much too long layover, the site is going to get back up and kicking.  We appreciate all the support from before and will appreciate in the future.  Nothing drastic will change on the site, we will still give out our daily Halfman and Halfdog awards as well as our entertaining youtube clip of the day.  Before we took our several month break, we started focusing on local teams a little bit more including the Utah Jazz and Utah State Aggies.  That will continue along with national headlines.  My personal favorite topic, the Marcin Gortat Updater will be in full force again.  The Polish Hammer is in action tonight as the Orlando Magic travel to Denver to take on the Nuggets.  We will have his first update of the season on the site tomorrow.  If you have any comments or suggestions, feel free to email us at suggestions@hmhdsports.com

Today’s halfdog award nominee- North Carolina Men’s basketball team

21 01 2010

Today’s halfdog award nominee is the University of North Carolina Men’s basketball team.  The Tarheels lost their third consecutive game last night a first in the Roy Williams era.  I know the tarheels lost four players to the NBA draft this past year, but come on it’s North Carolina.  That loss last night will surely drop UNC out of the top 25 and earns them the honor of today’s halfdog award nominee.

Voting Friday night thru Monday morning. Awards handed out on Mondays

10th Day of Christmas

23 12 2009

On the 10th Day of Christmas HMHD gave to me 10 Quarterbacks

9 D-Lineman, 8 O-Lineman, 7 Linebackers, 6 Starting Centers, 5 Wide Recievers, 4 Cover Corners, 3 Running Backs, 2 Tight Ends, and a Safety from the Denver Dream.

There might be a kicker and a safety in amongst our quarterbacks, but it’s the 10th Day of Christmas and we hope you’ve enjoyed our gift to you.  From us here at HMHD we say Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

7th Day of Christmas

18 12 2009

On the 7th Day of Christmas HMHD gave to me 7 Linebackers.

6 Starting Centers, 5 Wide Recievers, 4 Cover Corners, 3 Running Backs, 2 Tight Ends, and a Safety from the Denver Dream.

These 7 lovely ladies all happen to play Linebacker in the LFL.  Not what you typically think of when it comes to Linebackers, but they really do play the position.  Make sure to tune in Monday to see the final three days of hmhd’s 10 days of Christmas

Merry Christmas

6th Day of Christmas

17 12 2009

On the 6th Day of Christmas HMHD gave to me 6 starting Centers,

5 Wide Recievers, 4 Cover Corners, 3 Running Backs, 2 Tight Ends, and a Safety from the Denver Dream.

Each one of these lovely ladies plays Center in the LFL.  Usually the Center on a football team isn’t the most attractive fellow, even though the Quarterback puts his hands on their hind quarters, but it looks to be a different story in the LFL.  These ladies are just a little bit better looking than Jeff Saturday.  I love the NFL, but you’ve got to admit the LFL looks better position by position.

Merry Christmas
